training with us
Coached by Pedro
Pedro grew up playing in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, and played college soccer at Azusa Pacific. He teaches the details from day one.
Three classes a week
Tuesday and Thursday at 5 PM, Saturday at 9 AM. One hour each. Come once a week or make it a habit.
On real sand
We train on sand courts. Harder on the legs, easier on the knees, and how the game is meant to be played.
Every level
Never touched a footvolley ball, played soccer your whole life, or want to compete. Same answer: come play.
Soccer players welcome
Footvolley sharpens first touch, aerial control and balance. A lot of our players use it as off-season training.
Summer Sundays
Our community days at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz. Friendly games, churrasco, cold drinks and plenty of resenha.
why the bay area
The Bay Area has the soccer culture, the beaches and plenty of people who like to try something new. What it didn't have was a place to learn footvolley properly. That's a big part of why BPC exists.
Our San Francisco Bay Area classes run three times a week, with players coming in from the Peninsula, the South Bay and the East Bay. Most of them had never played footvolley before their first class.
We start with the fundamentals: touch, control, positioning and reading the game. Then we play. Every class ends with games, and a lot of people stick around after.

great for soccer players.
Brazilian pros play footvolley in the off-season for a reason. With no hands, every ball has to be controlled with your feet, thighs, chest or head, on a surface that moves under you.
Players who train with us notice it quickly: a cleaner first touch, better balance, and more confidence in the air.

questions
Everything you need to know before your first class.
Footvolley is a sport that combines soccer and beach volleyball. Players use their feet, chest, shoulders, and head, but no hands, to get the ball over the net. It originated in Brazil in the 1960s on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro and has grown into a global sport known for its incredible athleticism, technical skill, and beach culture.
Soccer experience helps but is absolutely not required. We welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced soccer players to volleyball players. Our coaches adapt training to your current skill level and help you progress at your own pace.
Absolutely! Our classes are beginner-friendly by design. We start with fundamentals, ball control, basic touches, positioning, and build from there. Many of our students had never played footvolley before their first class.
We currently train in two locations: the San Francisco Bay Area (our primary location) and Corona del Mar / Newport Beach. Exact training spots are shared when you sign up. We train on beach or sand courts, the authentic footvolley experience.
Yes! The San Francisco Bay Area is our primary training location. We offer classes on Tuesday at 5 PM, Thursday at 5 PM, and Saturday at 9 AM. We serve the broader Bay Area including Peninsula, South Bay, East Bay, and surrounding communities.
Yes! We have a growing branch in Corona del Mar / Newport Beach offering footvolley training for the Southern California community. Contact us via Instagram @bolapracimafootvolley or use our sign-up form to get the current schedule.
Wear athletic clothes you're comfortable moving in. Bring water, sunscreen, and a soccer ball if you have one. Since we train on sand, you can go barefoot or wear sand socks. No special footvolley shoes are required for beginners.
Each class is one hour: 10 minutes of warm-up and dynamic stretching, 30 minutes of skill development and technical training, and 20 minutes of games and scrimmages.
The easiest way is to fill out our sign-up form on this website or send us a DM on Instagram @bolapracimafootvolley. We'll confirm the current schedule, location, and get you set up for your first session.
Footvolley is one of the best complementary sports for soccer players. It builds exceptional first touch, ball control under pressure, aerial technique, and soccer IQ. Many professional soccer players in Brazil regularly play footvolley in the off-season.
